Trial and Error…

Read about an unsharpening method (large radius, low percentage) for certain (like below) subject matter. Tried it. Holding the print in my hands clearly shows that this is not very nice, yes the feel for ‘structure’ of the granite is improved but it is still too fuzzy. Dumped the print and did it the old fashioned way I feel okay about.

Magic of Squares…

Softness of the image and the matte paper go very well together. Rugen, KDF, 2008 I still see much, if not all, square….

964,965,966,967 clicks and done! Profiled the matte paper I ordered, Innova Fibaprint White Matte (IFA39). Very smooth paper, no surface structure as many of the popular papers do have. Gee, I envy the HP users of Z series printers that can profile papers fully automatic. Lucky me that I’m not trying each and every paper….
